Prophecy Re-Examined
About David Eymann
David Eymann makes his home in Estacada, Oregon, in the Cascade foothills east of Portland. Now retired, he lives on a 20-acre tree farm, growing timber, Christmas trees, and nursery plants. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, he studied music education at Grand Canyon University, which served him well as a worship pastor in several churches. He later graduated from Western Seminary (Portland, Oregon) in 1978. It was in one particular class in seminary, studying II Thessalonians 2 from the Greek, that he first developed the burning desire to re-examine prophecies about the end times.

David served as an associate pastor in churches in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona and in Gladstone, Oregon. He then teamed up with a few other brave men to start a church-plant in the Parkrose district of Portland, Oregon. Then, for sixteen years, he served as one of the directors at Eagle Fern Camp, reaching children, teens, and adults with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

His wife, Carol, worked as an RN for many years, while still managing to raise six children. God gave her a heart full of mercy, and for thirty years she cared for some of the most medically fragile children in Oregon, at Providence Child Center. She was also a huge encouragement and help in writing this book.
David continues to study and write about prophecy, posting new insights on his blogspot, “Prophecy Re-Examined.” Each and every day is a new adventure – a few hours on the farm, and a few hours at the computer, writing and re-writing. He has spent most of his life re-examining prophecy -- not just re-hashing and tweaking the prevailing beliefs about the last days, but, as it turns out, debunking many of the popular teachings that American Christians hold dear. With persuasive clarity and urgency his book will challenge you, too, to re-consider what you have been taught about the end times. The last days are rapidly developing. The rapture is not the next event on God's timeline, as many Christians believe. Rather, we must all prepare to endure great turmoil. That, in a nutshell, is the message and the warning in this book.
